Alien Soundworks 休眠状態への移行について
Alien Soundworks の創業者兼代表である私、ウーリ・ニコラは、日本での在留資格更新ができなかったため、会社を休眠状態に移行する決断をいたしました。
この13年間、私は自分の情熱をすべて注ぎ、あらゆる予算のクリエイティブなミュージシャンに高品質な製品を提供し、インスピレーションと生産性に集中できるよう、革新的で現代的な楽器・パーツ・アクセサリーの開発に取り組んできました。世界でも有数の楽器市場である日本の一員として活動できたことは大きな喜びであり、この国のクリエイティブな文化に貢献できたことを誇りに思っています。日本は私が心から愛し、尊敬する国です。
しかし、近年の在留資格制度の変更により、ビジネスマネージャー・ビザ取得のみを目的とした「バーチャル企業」への対策が強化され、その影響は誠実に事業を行ってきた外国人起業家にも及んでいます。私は日本政府を非難するつもりはありません。長い年月をかけて築かれた信頼社会を守るための措置であることを理解しています。ただ、新しい要件は非常に高く、小規模事業者である私の会社では継続が困難となりました。
これまで支えてくださったビジネスパートナーの皆様、そして Alien Soundworks の製品を信頼し、応援してくださったお客様に心より感謝申し上げます。会社は休眠状態となりますが、私は今後も楽器業界でキャリアを続けていきます。まだ実現したいこと、信じていることがたくさんあります。

Alien Soundworks – Dormant Status Announcement
I, Nicolas Oury, founder and CEO of Alien Soundworks, have decided to place the company into a dormant state due to the inability to renew my visa in Japan.
For 13 years, I dedicated my life to my passion: offering high‑quality products to creative musicians of all budgets, and developing innovative, modern instruments, parts, and accessories that help artists stay focused on inspiration and productivity. Being part of Japan’s thriving musical instrument market has been an honor, and contributing to its creative energy has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. Japan is a country I deeply love and respect.
However, recent changes in visa policies—introduced to address the rise of virtual companies created solely to obtain a Business Manager visa and access social welfare—have also affected honest foreign entrepreneurs. I do not blame the Japanese government for these measures; I understand the need to protect a society built on trust and stability. Unfortunately, the new requirements have raised the bar to a level that small businesses like mine can no longer meet, making continued operation impossible.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all business partners who contributed to this unforgettable journey, and to all customers who trusted and supported Alien Soundworks throughout the years. Although the company will become dormant, I will continue my career in the musical instrument industry. There are still ideas I believe in and goals I want to achieve.
